Our Story

photo
Avery and Clayton first met at summer band camp. That morning, Avery had gotten into her second car accident in 24 hours. She almost didn't go back to camp that day, but she decided to go anyway. That afternoon, Avery and Clayton ended up at the same table to watch a presentation, and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. (P.S.: Did I mention Avery had an allergic reaction face rash during this time?)

9 days after they met, Clayton and Avery agreed to be boyfriend and girlfriend, and have been together ever since. When Clayton met Avery's family on August 28th, he told her mom that he was planning to go to whatever college Avery went to.

After over four years of dating through high school and college together at LSU, Clayton proposed to Avery on their fifth Valentine's Day. He and Avery's family decorated the proposal spot by their church with rose petals and candles. They had Avery's favorite cake ever there, decorated with icing to ask her, "Marry me, Avery?" She sobbed and said YES!
